Through 28 years of practice and almost as much in providing supervision, Dr. Gilbert has been deeply involved in the treatment of over 3,000 individuals. In this workshop, Dr. Gilbert describes some of the wisdom drawn from these 3,000 lives: fundamental aspects of human beings that leave us especially vulnerable to power dysfunctions that manifest as depression and anxiety. She will then teach a new paradigm for understanding and fostering functional power practices as an essential aspect of treatment for these two symptom sets.
